Register for Imagination Library
Program Details:
Lake Area United Way is committed to helping children and youth achieve their potential. Reading with your child, starting at birth, will help them gain a better understanding of the world and early reading skills. The Imagination Library will mail a new, age-appropriate book to each child to their home each month until their 5th birthday.
The program is offered FREE to families who live in Muskogee and Cherokee Counties. The goal of the program is to provide books to ensure all children in our community are prepared for kindergarten, specifically families who need it most.
Eligibility:
Children from birth up to their fifth birthday whose parent or guardian lives in the Lake Area United Way service area of Muskogee or Cherokee Counties.
Donation Support:
Imagination Library is a partnership between Lake Area United Way and the Dollywood Foundation. Imagination Library is entirely funded by donations from families, corporations, grants, and fundraisers in Muskogee and Cherokee Counties. A $30 donation to United Way provides a local child with an Imagination Library book every month for a year.
