Day of Caring 2018 - Project Application

Lake Area United Way (LAUW) partners with area businesses and organizations every year to help nonprofits with projects. With the support of the companies, the employees/volunteers go out and complete a variety of projects. Projects range from small painting and organization to constructing play houses to be auctioned off, and everything in between. Volunteers look forward to this event and the nonprofits love getting projects done that may not have been completed otherwise. Companies love to participate in support of their community and because it is a team building exercise that creates a positive experience for the employees. If your organization would like to volunteer for the Day of Caring, register your volunteers at VolunteerMatch.org.  To register large groups, call the LAUW office at 918-682-1364.

Nonprofits wishing to submit a project for consideration, please fill out a separate form for each 2018 Day of Caring project. The deadline to submit projects is July 20, 2018. LAUW Day of Caring allows groups of volunteers to work together to make life better for the people of our community - it is a true hands-on caring through service. A Caring Community In Action. Online submission of the application is preferred, but a hard-copy version is available here. Please call Terry Beutelschies, Outreach Coordinator at 918-682-1364 or 918-525-2217, if you have any questions or need more information.
